Did you know Jeff Kinney, the author of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, helped create Poptropica!? It's true. He planted the seed for the incredible islands of Poptropica and the amazing stories and adventures within them!
We're SO EXCITED to be releasing new islands this year, making player requested updates to features, launching new side-quests and mini-games, and even giving Home Island a makeover!
Here at Poptropica HQ we're calling 2021 the Year of Stories. 📚There will be adventure, mystery, and tons of fun ahead (including multiplayer!).

Not to be negative in this great news, but by "stay tuned for a fan interview later this week", do you mean actually this week, or "we will be announcing more winners this week"-type from the contest winners? Please if you are going to announce when you will post something we would appreciate it if it was on time because the week you announced fairy tale island I was on my computer all day and night of the week waiting for the next winner that wouldn't come out 'till 3 weeks after that. I know you are busy and picking only a few islands is hard for you, but please actually send it when you say you will.

ReplyDeleteso, i really used to love this game, it was truly a classic loved by everyone. Instead of using flash, you guys should implement Flash point, please please please bring back the og poptropica without as many add and being able to do everything without having to pay for it. It sucks that this piece of gold was lost just because flash players gone. We all truly miss this game and wish to bring it back.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you one-hundred percent, but since flash is gone, it is quite impossible to bring back old poptropica. The creators are working on adding some of the old islands back, but poptropica will never be the same.

DeleteAlso, please fix the bug about changing clothes, cant complete poptropicon because of it. Also on survival 1 it wont let me start a fire because its too windy when theres no wind in the flag. Please fix these bugs.

DeleteYou should watch a walkthrough by Thinknoodles. He is funny and he shows you how to win islands. Search Thinknoodles Survival One and it should pop up.

ReplyDeleteDang, what's with these people? They're converting the old islands from Flash to Haxe, and doing that takes a while. It's not something that happens overnight, you just have to be patient. Poptropica cannot give you what you want exactly when you want it.
DeleteWe are ALL begging for different things at different times. If I am correct, there were about a million things u were asking for on the first Pop Airways. With the conversion, everyone wants different stuff. We know it takes time. Unknown was probably just stating what he/she wanted to see.

ReplyDeleteI would really love it if you expanded Home Island and made everyone's house on home island so everyone could see other people's houses, even if you can't go in to them.And let it be a little more public so if you went out of your house you could see all the other poptropicans who are walking around. Those would be some great changes.

It was a big chance to complete some of your favorite islands, and when the island of the month was a demo for non-members, like Wimpy Wonderland, they completely let non-members play the FULL island without membership to earn big credits! I want that to be brought back! Who's with me??
ReplyDeleteAstro Knights, Zomberry, Mystery Train, Ghost Story, and the Vampire's Curse -- please bring all of these islands back!!! They were all more challenging and period set which were cool. Also like Ghost Story the concept/storyline were unique and so original. Also bring back customizer so we can customize the clothes from these/other islands!! I need to have those goth vibes lol

DeleteThose islands are on almost all the lists to add back. I feel like it is really popular. I hope they get added back. I would like Game Show and Reality TV islands back, because you can always just go to that island and play games if you are bored.
